Right to the Good Stuff

Sorry again for the lack of posts. Haven't had a whole lot of free time lately, due to various illnesses, gigs with the band, Stella's baptism, etc. As such - right to the good stuff (i.e. pictures).

Each of the photos will take you to a different album - there are some 40 new pictures in total!

Miscellaneous Cuteness...

Easter!

Baptism!

Hope you enjoy all the pictury goodness. We'll try to post some actual messages at some point soon as well...

Too Long!

Sorry everybody for the long delay between posts - I'll try not to make a habit of it.

When last we talked, Grandma Hallberg had just had her accident and the weather was really nice here. Well, Grandma Hallberg is feeling much better now - she doesn't need to have surgery on her ankle, she's slowly but surely figuring out her crutches, etc. And the weather is still nice here, though just barely - it's supposed to be a near-record cold by Easter, even though it was in the 80s today. Lame.

Springtime is really gorgeous down here in general, though. Check out the gallery of Spring-related photos by clicking on the one at left featuring our new rocking chairs!

We've been good this past week or so - starting to figure out our schedule with Stella pretty well. Basically, Stella cries and we jump! We are amazed by how she grows and changes every day. She's giving us real smiles now and is starting to "talk". She makes vowel sounds. When Stella shouts "A!" Chris shouts "B!" So far, only Chris finds this funny... hopefully Stella will also see the humor one day. Stella has also discovered her head this week, which has been extremely funny to watch. She puts her thumb in her mouth and uses the rest of her fingers to feel her cheeks. At the same time her other hand is rubbing the back of her head and playing with her hair. We'll try to get a picture of this in action!

Things are heating up with the band a bit lately as well - we took some photos the other morning with a UNC photojournalism student (Jesse from the band is a journalist for the local newspaper and still somehow involved with the university). We're prepping right now for an upcoming string of shows, starting on April 24th with a show at the Cave in Chapel Hill. Click on the photo to check out our four favorite snapshots - please post comments as to which is your favorite, since we're trying to figure out which to use in our press kit!
